Doodhpathri is a tourist destinations and a hill station in the district budgam in Kashmir located in the khansahib area .

The name Doodhpathri means valley of milk the palace is just 42 km away from Srinagar it is a beautiful place with carpet meadows .

It is said that famous Saint Sheikh UL Alam Sheikh NOORUDIN NOORANI (RA) has prayed here and once when he was in search of water in the meadows to offer prayer he preached ground with his stick to search for water and milk came out thats why it is called doodhpathri
